Conference on Green Transition in the Maritime and Port Sector
IRBIM has always been committed to promoting scientific culture, with a particular focus on the marine world and its precious resources. Science need to be accessible to everyone, from youth to adults, as sharing it promotes greater awareness about the importance of both research and non-research actions that can be taken to protect the marine environment. To effectively fulfill this role, the involvement of the public and non-experts is crucial. Stimulating curiosity, interest in research, and sensitivity toward safeguarding the sea is essential to create a solid bridge between science and society. This page illustrates the Citizen Science initiatives and presents the outreach seminars on the research activities carried out at the IRBIM locations-
