The talk will cover the topic of acoustic surveys of small pelagics in the Adriatic Sea, which has a history of more than 40 years. The Adriatic Sea is one of the first seas to be investigated through this methodology, whose main objective is to estimate the abundance, biomass and spatial distribution of these fish stocks in the entire basin, with the aim of optimal resource management.
