Large scale mapping of small scale fisheries through a novel participatory approach

A new, standardized and replicable method for quantifying small-scale fishery effort through a participatory approach will be presented. This method made it possible, using a relatively low budget, to obtain a large amount of spatial data, enabling information gaps to be filled, relative to this area, for two areas of the Mediterranean Sea.
