Graduate in Biological Sciences (1995). Fixed-term contract from 16 February 2009. She mainly deals with Growth Studies of pelagic and demersal fish, bivalve molluscs and elasmobranchs, estimating growth rates and longevity through the macro and microstructural analysis of otoliths, vertebrae and spines, by applying population dynamics methods for the assessment of stocks. Expert in the determination of age, coordinating and carrying out training courses for other research groups both at national level (Working Groups and Operational Units related to the National Fisheries Data Collection Programme) and International (FAO-Project ADRIAMED) and Company AGT International (AGROTEC S.p.A.). She has also developed skills in the field of Reproductive Biology and Histology focusing her research activity on the study of the different traits of the reproductive cycle (fertility, size of sexual maturity, development and gonadal staging) in the Mediterranean and Antarctic. Business tutor for the Polytechnic University of Marche (DiSVA), both in the three-year and master degree programmes and with the second-degree schools for PTCO courses. Co-supervisor of master’s theses and co-tutor of doctoral studies. Head of the Population Dynamics Laboratory (Age and Growth lab) and the Histology Laboratory. Responsible for the scientific technical infrastructure of the Histology Laboratory.
