Filippo Domenichetti

Technical Collaborator

In 2009 I graduated in Biological Sciences (D.M. 509/1999), Marine Biology and Oceanography, at the Polytechnic University of the Marche of Ancona. Since 2004 I have been collaborating with the CNR of Ancona and since 2018 I have a permanent contract with the profile of Technical Collaborator Research Entities. I have always collaborated in numerous national and international research projects that have contributed to enriching my skills in the field of various themes: sustainable management of fish resources, spatial management of maritime activities, experimental fishing campaigns, assessment of the impact of artificial habitats on fish stocks, study of the technological characteristics of the different fishing activities, taxonomy and biology of the fish species being fished. In the course of my work at the CNR I contributed to the scientific research activities of the Institute in an active way, taking care of all the aspects that compose it, ranging from the drafting of project proposals, to the execution of the research activity itself, both in its organisational and scientific logistical aspects, and also in the management of scientific activities, management and administrative aspects, as well as the coordination of the personnel involved. Responsible for various oceanographic campaigns at sea. I carry out scientific activity at the CNR IRBIM in Ancona with studies focused in particular on the biology, taxonomy and ecology of marine organisms and the structure of fish populations aimed at ensuring both a rational exploitation of fishery resources, and the conservation of biodiversity through an ecosystem approach. I am author/co-author of various scientific publications in ISI journals and numerous national and international technical reports.

The research activities of the Institute are carried out in the context of research, development and innovation projects, both national and international, based on regional funding programs (POR FEAMPA - Regional Operational Program of the European Maritime Affairs Fisheries Fund and Aquaculture and POR FESR - Regional Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund) or ministerial (PRIN - Projects of relevant national interest, PNRA - National Research Program in Antarctica, PO FEAMPA - National Operational Program European Maritime Affairs Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund) , programs for European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg), direct funding programs of the European Commission (Horizon2020 and Horizon Europe, Life, JPI - Joint Programming Initiatives, ERA-NET Cofund) and thematic collaboration initiatives managed by international organizations such as, for example , the FAO - GFCM (General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean). The Institute also develops funded projects in the context of collaborations with private companies in the sectors of the blue economy as well as technology transfer and research results. Research projects, mainly of a collaborative nature, are developed through a wide network of partners that include major Italian and foreign research institutions and universities.
