Technical Collaborator

Accountant and Commercial Expert, hired by the CNR with effect from 01/11/1988, with the qualification of Administrative Assistant of VII level (qualification subsequently called Collaborator of Administration). Following the winning of various internal competitions, he arrived at the current qualification of CTER (Technical Collaborator of the Research Entities) of level IV. From 1993 to 2002, he was Responsible Employee (Administrative Manager) of the Institute for the Biological Exploitation of the Lagoons (later called Institute for the Study of Coastal Ecosystems) of the CNR of Lesina (FG). From 2003 to 2018 he was Head of the Administrative Secretariat of the Secondary Office of Lesina (FG) of the CNR Institute of Marine Sciences. From 2018 to today, he is Head of the Administrative Secretariat of the Secondary Office of Lesina (FG) of the Institute for Biological Resources and Marine Biotechnology of CNR. In the course of his work, he oversaw and coordinated the administrative and accounting aspects of the various EU, ministerial and regional funds managed by the CNR headquarters in Lesina. In addition to his administrative and accounting activities, he has also dealt with the management of IT and telematic resources, security requirements, and the statistical and graphic processing of financial data.

The research activities of the Institute are carried out in the context of research, development and innovation projects, both national and international, based on regional funding programs (POR FEAMPA - Regional Operational Program of the European Maritime Affairs Fisheries Fund and Aquaculture and POR FESR - Regional Operational Program of the European Regional Development Fund) or ministerial (PRIN - Projects of relevant national interest, PNRA - National Research Program in Antarctica, PO FEAMPA - National Operational Program European Maritime Affairs Fisheries and Aquaculture Fund) , programs for European Territorial Cooperation (Interreg), direct funding programs of the European Commission (Horizon2020 and Horizon Europe, Life, JPI - Joint Programming Initiatives, ERA-NET Cofund) and thematic collaboration initiatives managed by international organizations such as, for example , the FAO - GFCM (General Fisheries Commission for the Mediterranean). The Institute also develops funded projects in the context of collaborations with private companies in the sectors of the blue economy as well as technology transfer and research results. Research projects, mainly of a collaborative nature, are developed through a wide network of partners that include major Italian and foreign research institutions and universities.
