The training activity will be aimed at learning techniques for the analysis of oceanographic data (physico-chemical) on data sets obtained both from in-situ measurements carried out in oceanographic cruises and from existing databases.

The activity will also include the introduction to the use of the main oceanographic scientific equipment and the necessary pre-processing software. Use of CTD Sbe19plusV2 multiparametric probe complete with software for data upload and processing; Ocean Data View software (open download); oceanographic laboratory; other laboratory are available that could complement the intern’s experience.
