Within the framework of the FEAMP STEORIMA project, the Stazione Zoologica Anton Dohrn and CNR-IRBIM are jointly undertaking research activities on the use of exclusion grids to reduce the incidental catch of species of conservation interest (such as sharks, marine turtles, and cetaceans) in trawl fishing.
