Appliation of Nanopore technology to sequence the marine microbiome
Thanks to the 2022 edition of the STM IRBIM, Marco Basili, a FishMED PhD student (37th cycle) associated with CNR IRBIM Ancona, attended the NORCE laboratories, where he worked on the application of Nanopore technology to sequence the marine microbiome. During his stay, samples from the CIRCLE project were sequenced and analyzed using ad-hoc bioinformatic pipelines; the resulting data is currently being prepared for publication.
