The IRBIM team coordinated by Ernesto Azzurro with Luca Bolognini won the prestigious Ocean Hackathon 2020 award with the work “How do invasive species spread? Animating row data to communicate invasion histories”. An international digital event that brought together young talents, researchers, developers and sea enthusiasts with the aim of finding innovative solutions to protect and enhance the oceans.
