ORMEF is a free, searchable online database on Exotic Fishes of the Mediterranean (Sea). It provides up-to-date and geo-referenced information for scientists, conservationists, policymakers, and citizens, disseminating specialist knowledge and experience to a broad audience. The objectives of ORMEF are: to collect and organize data on alien fish species in the Mediterranean; to share information with the scientific community, environmental policymakers, and the general public; and to provide a useful tool for scientific research and the management of alien species.
