Naomi Massaccesi won the Best Paper Award 2024 at the International Annual Conference MedLIFE– Mediterranean Life Sciences Union for her presentation titled “Antibiotic resistance in the marine environment and in aquaculture settings: sources, sinks and pathways.” MedLIFE is an international, non-profit association aiming to establish a federation to unite the life sciences communities in the Mediterranean area Its primary goal is to promote research (both fundamental and applied) in the field of life sciences, in order to address and solve critical socio-economic and environmental issues, with a view toward a sustainable future
