Master’s degree in Marine Biology in 2022 and a Bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences in 2019 from the Marche Polytechnic University. Specialized in marine botany, for my Master’s thesis project I studied the potentially toxic diatom Pseudo-nitzschia multistriata, characterizing it from a morphological, molecular, and toxicological point of view. In particular, the morphological part was conducted with SEM (Scanning Electron Microscope) and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscope) to observe all ultrastructures with taxonomic value.
In 2021, I carried out an internship at the Marine Protected Area “Torre del Cerrano” on the LIFE DELFI project, where I monitored the effectiveness of the PINGERS distributed to fishermen, authorized to fish in the MPA, through the compilation of LOGBOOKs.
In 2023, I took the coordination activity of the PR@PESCA Project at the MPA “Torre del Cerrano” in collaboration with UNICAM, where I monitor the marine biodiversity present within the MPA through interviews with fishermen and LOGBOOKs.
Currently, I am a Research Fellow at CNR-IRBIM of Ancona as part of the “GAS STORAGE monitoring network” project within the offshore environmental monitoring framework for sampling, analysis, data interpretation, and studies for the CCS RAVENNA HUB-PHASE 1 project.
