{"id":12224,"date":"2023-04-28T16:36:45","date_gmt":"2023-04-28T14:36:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/tool-dettagli\/a-14-year-time-series-of-marine-megafauna-bycatch-in-the-italian-midwater-pair-trawl-fishery\/"},"modified":"2023-08-03T17:37:45","modified_gmt":"2023-08-03T15:37:45","slug":"a-14-year-time-series-of-marine-megafauna-bycatch-in-the-italian-midwater-pair-trawl-fishery","status":"publish","type":"tool-dettagli","link":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/en\/tool-dettagli\/a-14-year-time-series-of-marine-megafauna-bycatch-in-the-italian-midwater-pair-trawl-fishery\/","title":{"rendered":"A  time series of marine megafauna bycatch in the Italian midwater pair trawl fishery"},"content":{"rendered":"<div id=\"Abs1-content\" class=\"c-article-section__content\">\n<p>Fisheries bycatch is recognised as a global threat to vulnerable marine megafauna and historical data can contribute to quantify the magnitude of the impact. <span class=\"\">Here, we present a collection of three datasets generated between 2006 and 2019 by a monitoring programme on marine megafauna bycatch in one of the main Italian fisheries, the northern central Adriatic midwater pair trawl fishery. <\/span>The three datasets consist of: (i) monitored fishing effort; (ii) bycatch and biological data of dolphins, sea turtles and elasmobranchs; (iii) and dolphin sightings. <span class=\"\">Some information included in these datasets has already proved to provide a unique opportunity to estimate total incidental capture of species of conservation concern and trends of their relative abundance over time in the northern &#8211; central Adriatic Sea.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","categoria_tools":[],"class_list":["post-12224","tool-dettagli","type-tool-dettagli","status-publish","hentry"],"acf":[],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tool-dettagli\/12224","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/tool-dettagli"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/tool-dettagli"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=12224"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"categoria_tools","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.irbim.cnr.it\/en\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/categoria_tools?post=12224"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
