The aim of ARIEL Plus is to support the transferability and durability of the main results of the ARIEL project towards an open innovation for the small scale fishing and aquaculture sectors in the Adriatic-Ionian area, contributing to a smart and sustainable blue growth of the Adriatic-Ionic communities. The project intends to make the best use of the approach, strategies and tools developed in the three years of joint implementation of the ARIEL project, capitalizing and expanding the network of knowledge and cooperation put in place between local, regional, national public authorities, research and operators of small scale fishing and aquaculture. Building on a deep understanding of the challenges of SSF and QA at regional and ADRION level, as well as a number of policy and technical recommendations provided in the previous project, ARIEL plus aims to:<\/p>\n
– strengthen the transnational dimension of ARIEL results and knowledge through awareness-raising activities for beneficiaries and stakeholders;<\/p>\n
